Tired of Just Swimming? Try These Unique Water Activities

Are You Tired of Just Swimming? We’ve all heard of snorkeling, scuba diving, and paragliding, but for adventure-seeking people, these water activities might just be a little too mainstream already. When you’re done with just swimming it out and getting your tan, what other activities can you explore in, on, and under the water?

Here are some Tips for Tired of Just Swimming:

1. Underwater Wakeboard

Underwater Wakeboard

If you’re tired of wakeboarding on the water’s surface, how cool is it that you now have the option to do it underwater? Subwing lets you unleash your inner dolphin by providing a board that has two wings you can steer in any direction. It’s fun and easy to use. Just like regular wakeboarding, you get towed by a boat and you can maneuver it any way you want. If you need air you just have to tilt the board upwards to resurface.

2. Flyboard Watersport

Another water activity you shouldn’t miss out on (especially if you’re in Dubai!) is this keyboard fun that propels you up to 15m high above the water. With nothing but your feet strapped to the board, this one is definitely for the adrenaline junkies out there. You can also try other boards like the hoverboard, the ‘renovator’, and the jetpack.

3. Horse Surfing

Horse Surfing

Who would have thought that you would need a horse to surf? Horse surfing is an extreme sport where a surfer is pulled by a galloping horse. It may sound simple, but it’s a tough activity to do! You need to keep up with the speed and balance your way through the waters. Needless to say, muscle strength is very important here. But once you get the hang of it, it is such an amazing water activity to learn and brag about!

4. Canyoneering

Canyoneering

If you got more time and energy, you can try canyoneering – a combination of hiking, climbing, trekking, jumping off rocks, etc. This activity can take anywhere from three hours to a whole day, so make sure you’re prepared for this adventure. While this is considered an extreme water activity, beginners are still welcome to try as there are guides to assist you until you reach the endpoint.

5. Boat Party

Boat Party

When everything’s done and dusted, one unique way to end your water adventures is to chill at a yacht party with your friends. It’s the perfect culmination of your trip; just you and your crew dancing to your music and enjoying your booze. All these, while enjoying the view. Carolina Marine Group Boat Tours says that boat parties are one of the most underrated water activities yet one of the best experiences a group of traveling friends can have. It’s having all the fun minus the crowd!

Having fun under the beach sun does not always mean island hopping and freediving. Sometimes you got to go out of your way to explore other activities that will make you enjoy the waters more. It’s a good thing that everything is rent-ready, no need to bring your equipment to experience these unique adventures!
